Weather conditions will be warm and humid (low to mid 80s) with lower temperatures in the evening (low to mid 60s). Be sure to pack comfortable clothing and consider jackets in the evening.

A conservative dress code is observed in the UAE, so please keep modesty in mind while in public and avoid clothing that is overly revealing. Below are recommended items to pack:

• Camel Polo: Casual attire (comfortable pants recommended) with closed-toe tennis shoes

• Credit/debit cards for personal expenses

• Dinner in the Desert: Long pants or a dress, and a jacket, as evenings can be cool

• Exercise/gym clothes: Normal gym attire is appropriate at the resort

• Final Dinner attire: Business casual

• Flip flops/sandals for the resort pool and beach

• Grand Mosque (Abu Dhabi): Men - Long Pants required. Women - Long sleeve shirts/Pants or full length dress with long sleeves required; tight clothing is not permitted

For the international flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Dubai (DXB), Emirates Airlines will allow one (1) piece of checked luggage (up to 50 lbs) per person. Due to limited cargo space on bus transfers, we do ask that each couple bring no more than two (2) total checked bags combined.

A passport is required for this trip and must be valid for at least 6 months BEYOND travel dates. To be safe, make sure your passport expires AFTER November 1, 2026. Flights will be booked with the EXACT NAME that appears on the submitted passport.

A drivers license is required for the F1 experience.

United Arab Emirates operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz, so converters are required for non-compatible appliances/items. UAE uses the associated plug type G, which is the plug that has 3 rectangular pins in a triangular pattern.

Yes, a personal credit card will be required to cover all incidentals and personal expenses (such as spa services, etc).

Tipping is included on all combined group excursions, plus all airport transfers. For optional tours and personal activities, you are encouraged to give tips when good service is provided. Tips are accepted in either US dollars or UAE dirhams.

Dubai is a safe and secure destination. As a general rule, we still recommend all participants to be cautious while traveling, but don’t forget to also relax and enjoy your time!

Some helpful tips: 

• Avoid scam artists.

• Avoid using unofficial or unmarked taxis at night.

• Beware of strangers who approach you with “bargains,” offer to act as guides, or exhibit pickpocket behavior.

• Carry your camera with a strap around your neck.

• Don’t lose sight of your personal belongings.

• Have enough cash for emergencies; keep cash and credit cards locked in your room safe.

• Keep a low profile and avoid loud conversations or arguments.
